Privacy Notice

PSDC Car Rental ("PSDC", "we") rents out vehicles from Nancamaliran East, Urdaneta City, Pangasinan. To rent you a car safely we need some personal information. This notice explains what we collect, why, who sees it, how long we keep it, and your rights under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act 10173).

What we collect

  • Who you are: your full name, Facebook name and profile link.
  • How to reach you: mobile number, email and complete address.
  • Proof of identity: photos of your valid IDs and proof of billing.
  • Your booking: dates, destination, purpose, unit, driver and delivery details, and messages with our staff.
  • Payments: amounts, reference numbers and the receipt screenshots you upload.
  • At pick-up and return: photos of the vehicle and its condition, a photo of you with the unit and the signed contract, and your signature.
  • Vehicle location: our units have GPS trackers, so we can see where the vehicle is during your rental.

Why we use it

  • To process your booking, prepare the unit, and send you booking updates by email.
  • To confirm your identity and protect our vehicles, including checking our list of clients we no longer rent to.
  • To record payments, deposits and charges, and to keep the books our business permits and the BIR require.
  • To recover a vehicle, or handle an accident, insurance claim, traffic violation or dispute.
  • To send you promos and discounts, only if you ticked the box to receive them. You can stop anytime.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for anything unrelated to renting you a car.

Who sees it

  • Our owner and staff, each only for their job (for example, release staff see the checklist, not your payments).
  • If you book a partner's unit, the partner owner sees only the booked dates, never your name, contact or IDs.
  • Service providers that run our systems for us: our database and file storage, our website host, and our email service. They store the data for us and may not use it for themselves.
  • Insurers, the police or the courts, only when needed for an accident, claim or legal case, or when the law requires it.

How we protect it

Your IDs, proof of billing and receipts are kept in private storage that only our signed-in staff can open. Staff accounts have their own logins and only see what their role needs. Every change to bookings and payments is recorded.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while you rent with us and for as long as needed for the reasons above. Booking and payment records are kept for as long as tax and business rules require. You can ask us anytime to delete your IDs and other documents you no longer need us to keep; we will do so unless the law requires us to keep them.

Your rights

You have the right to be informed, to see the information we have about you, to have it corrected, to object or withdraw your consent (for example, to stop promos), to ask us to delete it, and to file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph).
